CLUBS and SOCIETIES (All meet in the Village Hall)
Bulmer & District W. I.	Now suspended- It is with great sadness that Bulmer and District W.I has been forced to close. This is due mainly to a decrease in numbers and a failure to recruit new members. However the closure is not final as the decision was taken to suspend the Institute for a maximum period of three years with the hope that it can be re-opened within eighteen months if more support can be found. The Committee would like to thank all members past and present for their support and hope that Bulmer W.I. will once more become a flourishing Institute in the not too distant future.

Book Club (Tuesdays)	Cost £1.00 per session includes tea or coffee. Join a small group of readers who meet to discuss the read of the month, from Bryson to Binchy, and books in general.	First Tuesday each month 7:30pm	Call Pat Willet
Flower Club (Tuesdays)	Cost - varies according to material provided. Learn the art of flower arranging or brush up your skills and produce a flower arrangement. Provide own flowers and work under expert guidance.	2nd Tuesday of each month 7:30pm	Call Carol Morris 88197
Stitch & Sew (Tuesdays)	Cost £1 per session plus a £3 joining fee payable after having attended three sessions. As its name suggests, this group meet to `stitch and sew` anything from knitting to cross stitch, plus of course, a `good old chatter!`	4th Tuesday each month at 7:30pm (back room)	Call Jean 376392 or Margaret 312915
Keep Fit (Wednesdays)	Cost - £1-50 per session What's it all about? A bit of stretching, floor work and pilates but definitely no posing with silver leotards! Why not come along and find out?	Every Wednesday 8pm - 9pm	Call Margaret Mills 269377
Carpet Bowls Club (Thursdays)	Cost £5.00 per year membership fee plus 50p per week which includes tea or coffee. We have three carpets and all equipment is provided. ANNUAL SUMMER FETE

FRIDAY 20TH JUNE 2008
3.30PM - 6.30PM

TRADITIONAL FETE WITH A CIRCUS THEME. THERE WILL BE MANY ATTRACTIONS INCLUDING A PAUL PLEASANT'S SHOW, VARIOUS CHILDREN'S PERFORMANCES, BOUNCY CASTLES, PONY RIDES AND THE USUAL BRIC A BRAC AND TOMBOLA STALLS. THERE IS ALSO A RAFFLE WITH £100 FIRST PRIZE AND A SELECTION OF MOUTH WATERING REFRESHMENTS INCLUDING A BBQ, BAR, CAKES, POPCORN, ICE CREAMS AND CHOCOLATE STRAWBERRIES.

EVERYONE IS WELCOME TO COME ALONG AND JOIN THE FUN.
